I helped pass $300 million in one-time public safety aid for local governments, including roughly $3 million for St. Cloud and nearly $1 million for the Waite Park police department.

We also put $500,000 toward workforce development programs serving survivors of trafficking and domestic violence, so that leaving a dangerous situation doesn’t mean losing the ability to support yourself. Safety isn’t only a policing question.
